In 1990 we recognized the need to develop a surgery center devoted to foot surgery. We envisioned that in this facility, we would provide for our patients in an atmosphere that was comfortable and less threatening than the traditional hospital setting and a facility with the very latest technology and equipment for foot surgery.

In 1991 that dream became a reality when our surgery center opened and received it's license from the State of Nevada and from the Federal Government. This was not an easy task as we were required to meet the same standards as any free standing or hospital based surgery center.

We are very pleased to report that during the year of 2004, we successfully completed our 3000th case. ONCE AGAIN, IT IS EXPERIENCE THAT COUNTS.

In our facility, your comfort is our chief concern. While our patients are undergoing their procedures, they are lightly sedated with IV medications administered and monitered by one of our staff anesthesiologists. Once sedated, local and regional anesthestics are administered. With this combination of sedation and local anesthetics we are avoiding the risks of general anesthesia.
